Creating the Native Plant and Dye Garden, Gathering Area and Fire Pit 2024

The native plant and dye garden, gathering area and firepit are located on the site of the original Hupač̓asatḥ band hall, which burned down a few years back. The intention for the site is to create a place for community to gather, meanwhile have a working garden to support our pigment and native plant research. The garden is always evolving. We've been surprised at how almost every visiting artist ends up working in the garden in some way.
